For years LaVece made these delicious bourbon balls as gifts for her friends and family each holiday season. Receipt of each gift was invariably accompanied by raves about the dreamy quality of the delectable candy. With the publication of her book, Cooking With My Friends--Kentucky Recipes, LaVece began to take small batches of the candy to book signings. available for purchase on a limited basis. LaVece's bourbon balls are
made in small quantities, with a creamy center of
bourbon-impregnated chopped pecans and confectioner's sugar, and are individually hand dipped in a rich dark
chocolate coating and topped with LaVece's traditional
signature swirl. In order to insure the consumer receives each bourbon ball in the best of condition, and to meet the holiday demand, they are shipped only October thru Valentine's Day.
